Celebrating our Community, Culture & Creativity

Throughout the year, AGSEV supports and promotes school events that bring families, students, and staff together.

From festive gatherings like the Christmas Market to meaningful celebrations such as European Day, these moments reflect the spirit of collaboration, diversity, and joy that define our school community.

In each event, children and parents join in a wonderful journey—sharing experiences, building memories, and strengthening the bonds that make our community so special.

Christmas Party

The Christmas Market is a festive event closely tied to the Nursery and Primary school classes, warmly welcoming all families from the school community. Held every two years (the last one took place in 2024), the celebration happens during school hours and transforms the school into a joyful and multicultural gathering.

Children proudly present creative work they have prepared with their teachers, while families offer food and drinks representing each section and nationality. We organize a second-hand market and other sustainable projects.

The proceeds from the event are traditionally donated to charitable causes, reinforcing the community spirit of the day.

European Day

European Day is a meaningful celebration held each year on May 9th, commemorating the values of unity and diversity within our school community. The event takes place in the morning, and parents of Nursery and Primary students are warmly invited to attend.

The celebration features a vibrant art exhibition showcasing students’ creative work, along with musical performances by the children—highlighting the cultural richness and spirit of cooperation that define the European School.

It’s a proud and joyful moment to come together as one community, celebrating our shared European identity.

Science Week

Every February, our school celebrates Science Week—a dynamic event dedicated to STEM and STEAM subjects: science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. It’s a time when curiosity takes center stage through hands-on activities, creative projects, and collaborative learning.

The week thrives thanks to the dedication of students, teachers, lab technicians, the ICT team, and support staff. Their teamwork transforms our school into a hub of discovery and innovation.

Students play a key role, sharing knowledge and inspiring peers with their enthusiasm and initiative. Science Week is a joyful celebration of learning, imagination, and the spirit of exploration.

Sport Day

At the end of September, our school comes alive with energy and team spirit during Sport Day—a much-anticipated event that celebrates movement, cooperation, and healthy competition. Students from all levels participate in a variety of athletic activities, showcasing their skills, determination, and sportsmanship.

The day is made possible thanks to the dedication of our PE teachers, staff, and volunteers who ensure everything runs smoothly. Families often join to cheer from the sidelines, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Sport Day is more than just games—it’s a celebration of effort, unity, and the joy of being active together.
