Rubbish Bingo Challenge!

Parents Building the Future we Want challenge the community to a game of Rubbish Bingo!

AGSEV Parents Building the Future team is supporting our whole school committee with waste reduction action. We would like to challenge the community to a game of RUBBISH BINGO!

We are all drowning in too much clutter, with the experts telling us it is bad for our mental health, as well as bad for the planet. With events coming up like plogging with the JRC in October (a community plastic pick-up walk); AGSEV’s annual skiwear swap ‘n sale in November; and the Repair Cafe’s monthly get-togethers there are plenty of opportunities to start moving into a more circular way of living.

In 2022 Italy was recycling 71% of its packaging waste and 53% of its municipal waste – which isn’t bad, but experts say it needs to divert more waste away from landfill (source: EEA Europa). It might seem like a small action, but every item you manage to put back into circulation will make a difference. Please do check out the ideas we have outlined below.

How to use this Bingo sheet? Grab a pen and tick off the actions you are already taking, circle ideas you fancy having a go at – and cross off the things that are not for you.

Feel free to send us in pictures of the challenge in action! Challenge open until November 30th 2025 – prizes awarded but evidence will be required! Good luck!
