Balanced and Sustainable Snacks for Children
On March 10th, 2026, AGSEV held the event “Good Night Talks – Balanced and Sustainable Snacks”, featuring biologist and nutritionist Alessandra Giordani. The session highlighted the importance of healthy, balanced, and sustainable snacks in supporting children’s growth, energy, and concentration throughout the school day and during their afternoon activities.
We had an interesting and engaging conversation during which our expert guided us through the principles of healthy eating for children aged 4 to 11. Alessandra Giordani explained why well-balanced snacks play an important role in supporting children’s growth, concentration, and energy levels throughout the day.
During the talk, we learned how to plan simple, nutritious, and sustainable snacks that complement the school canteen menu and respond to the needs of both short and long school days. Practical examples and easy strategies were shared to help families ensure children receive the right nutrients, while also considering afternoon activities such as sports, homework, and other commitments.
We found the discussion so interesting and useful that we would like to share with you the presentation we reviewed during the event, attached below. If you have further questions or would like to propose a new workshop for our Good Night Talks, please feel free to write to us.
