The following rules are intended to ensure a safe, organized, and fair environment for all pupils participating in after-school activities. They clarify enrollment procedures, schedules, payment obligations, and behavioral expectations, while protecting both students and instructors.
Eligibility & Membership: Enrollment is open to all pupils of the European School whose parents are members of the Parents’ Association (AGSEV) and have paid the current annual membership fee.
Duration & Schedule: Our extracurricular activities typically run from end of September until June. Any changes to the schedule will be communicated in advance. Activities may take place during studio hours, lunch breaks, or after school, depending on the program.
Course Format: Activities may be offered individually or in groups, depending on the nature of the course. We suggest you to have a look of each course in our shop.
Minimum & Maximum Enrollment: Group courses will only take place if the minimum number of participants is reached. For safety and quality reasons, no registrations will be accepted beyond the maximum number specified for each activity. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration & Payment: Enrollment is considered final only after both the AGSEV membership fee and the activity fee have been fully paid. Memberships and course registrations must be completed online via the AGSEV webshop.
Late Enrollment: In exceptional cases, pupils joining a course after it has started will pay a fee proportional to the remaining sessions. Previous agrement with the teacher.
Trial Lessons & Refund Policy: Each pupil is entitled to two trial lessons only. After the third lesson, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
Withdrawals: In case of withdrawal, parents must notify both AGSEV and the instructor promptly. Any refund or financial arrangement will be agreed directly with the course teacher, according to the applicable rules.
Absences: Any absence must be communicated in advance to:

- the extracurricular activity teacher (conctact details will be provided before the course starts)
- the bus service (if the pupil uses school transport): valentina.erba@partner.eursc.eu/ 0332 242092
- Parents are also advised to inform the school; however, please note that AGSEV is the main organizer of the activity.
Behavior & Discipline: All pupils must follow school rules and respect teachers’ instructions, including during special situations such as using the canteen or school bus.
Conduct in Class: Pupils are expected to behave appropriately, showing respect toward teachers and fellow pupils at all times.
Exclusion from Activities: The instructor reserves the right to exclude a pupil whose behavior repeatedly disrupts the activity. In such cases, reimbursement will be provided for the remaining sessions.
Learning & Enjoyment: Above all, our after-school activities are designed to provide a positive experience where pupils can learn, grow, and have fun.
Specific Rules for Music Lessons 🎼
- Music lessons are offered only through AGSEV agreements. Private music lessons are not allowed on school premises.
- Lessons may take place during free periods, lunch breaks, or after school, depending on availability.
- Payments are managed by AGSEV. Lesson scheduling and cancellations are handled directly between families and teachers.
- If a pupil cannot attend a lesson, the teacher must be informed at least 24 hours in advance.
- Missed lessons may affect the total number of lessons for the school year.
- Teachers are not required to make up missed or late-cancelled lessons.
- For planned or longer absences, parents should inform the teacher in advance. Any arrangements are at the teacher’s discretion.
