Future of the European Schools

Cari Genitori,

Lunedì 24 giugno 2013 il Troika allargato si incontrerà  con lo scopo di progettare e preparare la discussione sul cost sharing (suddivisione dei costi).

In connessione indiretta con la riunione di oggi, il consiglio di educazione del 16 maggio dichiara che “una riunione straordinaria dei Ministri dell’Istruzione della UE dovrebbe essere convocata al più presto possibile per per discutere l’attuale crisi”. Crediamo che questa riunione straordinaria sia stata programmata per novembre.

Pensando a queste riunioni e per concentrare attenzione sulle nostre scuole, sono state avviate due azioni : una da Interparents e l’altra una nota firmata da tutte le Associazioni dei Genitori delle Scuole collegate ai JRC e dai rispettivi Comitati Locali del Personale (CLP) delle stesse sedi.

Dear Parents,

On Monday 24 June 2013 the enlarged Troika will meet, with the aim of planning and preparing the cost sharing discussion. Indirectly connected to this meeting, the education council of the 16 May stated that “an extraordinary meeting of EU education ministers should be convened as soon as possible in order to discuss the current crisis”. We believe that this extraordinary meeting has been planned for November.

With these meetings in mind and in order to focus attention on our schools, two actions have been put in motion: one by Interparents and the other a letter which has been signed by all Parents Associations from schools linked to the JRC sites together with the local staff committees of these JRC sites.
